[Charity 2 · Good Samaritan Home
仁爱之家 ]
Good Samaritan Home is an orphanage situated in Klang, Selangor. Where 31 orphans call the place Home. But due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the number of benevolent people that donate to the Good Samaritan Home has gradually decreased. Therefore, Kachi Festival 2021 decided to spread the love by surprising a Christmas gives to the children, so that they could enjoy the magical Christmas Eve.
We hereby, call on the public to help these children as everyone deserved to be loved. Those who are financially stable could help them in terms of financial donation or contribute in other types of supports.
仁爱之家是位于雪兰莪巴生的一家孤儿院，目前收留着31名孤儿。疫情之下，捐助物资的善心人士日渐减少。因此，第十二届卡其欢腾之夜选择在圣诞节前夕给孩子们送上一些物资作为圣诞礼物，希望每个孩子都能感受到圣诞节的欢乐。
在此，我们也呼吁大众能多多关爱这些无家可归的孩子们，如有能力，可以选择捐款和物资以帮助他们在更好的环境和条件下成长。

Sometimes it is hard to express your feelings but you must believe that there is always a person who will always be there for you and support you.
Chasing a dream is alike to traveling alone in the darkness of a starless night. Many people may lose their direction, even forgetting their initial impetus and enthusiasm.
A simple greeting might provide a touch of warmth and positive energy to the person in depression. However, normally we are shy to express our emotions throughout the speech and for the person who is relatively introverted, it could be harder for them to express. So, let us express it with words.
The 12th Kachi Festival is organized a four-days sub-event, with the theme “Light Guardian”. This is a chance for you to share your story of chasing your dream by using nicknames and giving support and encouragement to others.
Let’s support each other on this journey and shine a light on one another as we travel toward our dreams.

We used to be fascinated by animals when we were young. In the path of growing up, the knowledge that we learn keeps increasing, and the things we care, change as we grow older. Yet our curiosity grows less and less. It's not that you are losing your curiosity towards the world, it's just that you've lost your courage to dream in the face of reality. So, what are you waiting for? My brave adventurous that is committed to discovering the world today.
Therefore, Kachi Festival 2021 is organized a Poster Design Competition -- Zootopia. Everyone takes advantage of this opportunity to join up promptly, demonstrate your skills, and portray the animal carnival day in your artwork!

[Bonjour Sunrise •
又·见]
When the pandemic hit, all economy sectors across the country was shut down due to the restrictions. The restrictions have caused petting zoo to lose their main source of income to sustain their businesses. The financial crisis impacts the supplement of animal welfare in terms of food and medical needs, which become a burden for the zoo.
Thus, Kachi Festival 2021 organized an online charity fundraising, named "Bonjour Sunrise". The term "Bonjour Sunrise" refers to new rising hope and reunion as the COVID-19 restrictions have been eased according to the state phase, we are finally allowed to reunite with our long-lost "friend". Throughout this fundraising event, we urge everyone to lend a helping hand to turn the tide.
当疫情来袭，许多经济活动都遭受到限制。这影响前来动物园的观光客人数，进而让动物园门票销售量逐渐下滑，间接影响了动物园的经济来源。无论是日常营运或是动物们的三餐，对于动物园无疑是个沉重的负担。
因此，第十二届卡其欢腾之夜举办了线上筹款活动，取名为《又·见》。当"又"和"见"合起来就是"观"，借此表达动物园里的动物都是观赏类动物，而这次的活动也是《遇见》的延续，愿疫情后我们又能见到动物们健康的模样。这次大家依然可以透过捐款去帮助动物园渡过难关。

If you were given the opportunity to create animals, what will it look like?
Kachi Festival 2021 organized a 6 days Instagram challenge named (Animal Memes). During the challenge, every contestant drew a picture based on the semi-finished pictures that we provided every day. For every successful challenge, we will donate 100g of animals pellet to G2G Animal Garden-MAEPS.
In these six days, there are a total of 284 IG Stories completed the challenge! Kachi Festival 2021 donated 28.4kg feed to G2G Animals Garden-MAEPS! In addition, in response to the enthusiastic support of all participants, we will donate an additional 21.6 kg, a total of 50kg feed to G2G Animal Garden-MAEPS!

Due to the recent pandemic outbreak, the whole world is struggling. There are people who work desperately to rescue the patients, some are suffering mentally and financially due to the country lockdowns. The world is exhausted and despaired. In the midst of the pandemic widespread, what we need is none other than the positive energy and hope. Hence, Kachi Festival 2020 is inviting everyone to spread hope and positivity to the world!

"Ces Jours" is a term that originated from French and the meaning is those days.
Time passes by unknowingly when we spend time with people. As time passes by, some people might leave but memories will always stay with us. What we have seen and what we have heard throughout our life will forever be engraved in our hearts. These memories are like fragments of reality that wanders the complex universe, our minds. It might be trivial but we know that it is always present. Everyone has carved their memories, be it good ones or bad ones. Some choose to remember them while others choose to lock them behind thick walls, fortified within their hearts.
However, through the cruel hands of our common enemy, the pandemic, we have been forced to be apart for months, causing relationships to fall apart. I believe silver linings are always there for the brave-hearted souls. They can make the most out of what life has given them; able to embrace the challenges handed to them. However, we are sure that many of you, despite all your efforts to adapt to the new normal, still miss the conducive environment our university provides.

As Pablo Picasso once said, “I paint objects as the way I think of them, not as the way I see them”. A real work of art expresses what the creator feels, not just what the naked eye sees. Therefore, what everyone "sees" does not exactly mean what everyone else "thinks." Hence, Kachi Festival 2020 is hereby to organize an online subevent which is “I’m PICASSO” from 1st of November 2020 until 6th of November 2020. This online event aims to provide an opportunity for those who have ideas but is short of platforms or channels to show their talent in thinking and drawing.
著名已故画家毕卡索曾经说过“我不画我所看到的，我画我所知道的” 真正的艺术作品，表达的是创作者所感受的，而不僅僅是肉眼所见。因此，每个人“所见的”并不等于其他人“所想的”。有想法却无处展现；想解乏却不懂慎选。借此，第十一届卡其欢腾之夜将在来临的这个星期（01/11/2020– 06/11/2020）举办名为“我是毕卡索 • I’m PICASSO” 的线上活动以考验大家的思维与推动你的心智。
Day in day out, we are all caught up with our daily hustle-bustle. The morning light often brings a glimpse of warmth before we start the day. When was the last time you turned your head up to enjoy the charm of the bright sky?
To bring attention to the smallest blessings in our daily life, Kachi Festival 2020 is presenting a five-day-online challenge - Light up via Instagram. To take part in this challenge, participants are required to take a photo of the bright sky and share a blessing you have had during the day. When the campaign completes, all photos collected throughout the challenge period will be compiled as an e-photo magazine and will be published on our official social media platforms.

从雾霭迷蒙的晨晓，到烟霞云敛的黄昏。你有多长的日子没有好好抬头望向那明媚的天空了呢？
早晨阳光的笼罩，不似午后的烈阳。柔和、温暖，伴随着晨间微风带来的一丝清凉。正是这份温暖，能够无形间点亮每个悲伤灰暗的心灵。
为此第十一届卡其欢腾之夜将举办一个为期五天的IG打卡挑战——【晨曦】。晨曦意味着早晨初起的太阳，象征着温暖。在挑战进行期间，参与者需拍下每日的天空并附上一小段文字，分享当日的心情和小美好。待挑战结束后，所有的图集将汇成电子杂志分享给大家。

High above the night sky, the moon is the one and only irreplaceable existence, just like deep within our heart, there are some people who means so much to us. As one is born to express, not to impress, so does we will have our own moon and will be someone else’s moon. To be acknowledged by someone can be truly happy, just like the starry sky, no matter how many stars there are, its sight will always be left for no one but the moon only.

Hereby, Kachi Festival 2020 has set up a platform for you to express your wishes from 26th to 30th December 2020. After that, your wishes will be published on our official website on 31st December 2020.

[Give Me Five! • 遇见 ]
When we walk on the street, stray animals can be seen everywhere. They drag their tiny and skinny bodies and wander around the streets, sometimes searching for resources in a pile of garbage, sometimes begging for food from people on the roadside. When night falls, somewhere in the corners of the city, they might be staring eagerly at the warm light of human's house. When the sun rises, somewhere in the roadside bushes, they are hoping to have a meal to resolve their hunger.
Hence, Kachi Festival manages to organize an online fund-raising activity to help Meefah Shelter in stray animals’ rescue. We provide 2 options for fund-raising: one-time and long-term donation. We urge everyone to lend a helping hand to give the stray animals the best redemption. Let us work together to create a home for them!

走在大街上，流浪动物随处可见。它们拖着脏乱不堪的小身躯徘徊在路边，偶尔在垃圾桶边寻找着生存下去的资源，偶尔向着路边的人讨要食物。当夜幕降临，在城市的角落里，流浪的小动物们也许会向往地望着人类家里暖暖的灯光。当太阳升起，在马路旁的草丛里，无家可归的小动物们最大的愿望可能就只是吃上一顿饱饭。
因此，卡其欢腾之夜决定举办线上筹款活动来协助 Meefah Shelter 去拯救这些流浪动物。我们提供了2种捐款选项，分别为一次性捐助及长期助养，希望大家一起关爱他们，给他们一个最好的救赎。让我们一起携手为流浪动物创造一个家！
